Source: Government of Trinidad and Tobago

Year: 2014

From the publication:

Trinidad and Tobago has the largest economy in the English speaking Caribbean and this is due to the energy sector which accounts for 44 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product, 50 percent of Government revenue and 90 percent of foreign direct investment.

We could boast of one refinery, eleven ammonia plants, seven methanol plants, two direct reduced iron plants, six power plants, four LNG trains and numerous multinationals extracting crude oil and natural gas both on shore and off shore.
